We where asked to look at this war memorial in Clitheroe in our survey I concluded the fact there was a complete restoration necessary , and that is exactly what we did, due to it having many layers of paint over many years we needed to remove by Media clean, something we would normally avoid but when we come across memorials that don’t get professionally maintained they end up in this state, we soon put things right by request of Clitheroe Town Council who have great respect for this stunning monument.
